Decent tyres… and at this price, can’t go wrong. (700c X47) by borg, 13 February 2016, 10 out of 10 people found this review helpful I do 15 miles of commute each way with at least 10 miles on hard packed dirt tracks that turn into deep mud in the rain. Much of the time I do it at night and need to have puncture protection, good feel and secure handling. At this price I did not expect much but was pleasantly surprised of how sure footed they felt. On the road they grip much better than Continentals (cyclocross) that was using. Not as fast as a 32 or 37 but. not far behind. On dirt they feel smooth with plenty of side wall flex and good feel. 47 seems to be a good compromise between a MTB style safe grip and comfort verses road speed. I can not say if they have adequate puncture protection or if they will last…..but so far no incidents nor any sign of excess wear. They went on the rims easly. Pros: good grip and very composed Cons: none I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
great value tyre by OFOAB, 13 June 2016, 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful have used these tyres for a couple of rides now and have found them to perform well. Good rolling resistance on road and good grip on rough stony farm tracks, they will handle a bit of mud but are not full blown mtb tyres. no punctures despite sharp flint on tracks. had a bit of a tousle getting them on the rims but not because they were tight, they wanted to stay in the folded shape. partial inflation was the only way to make them look like a tyre and get them central. Absolute bargain and ideal for a hybrid bike. Would use them again. Pros: cheap light great hybrid Cons: not so easy to fit I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful
