Proper MTB by OlofSweden, 29 January 2018, 17 out of 18 people found this review helpful I have scouted the internet and this is the best specced MTB I have found for this kind of money. Starting with the downsides: The fork is a 100 mm air fork, but I expected a more plush ride. Especially with the 29 inch wheels. I guess you get what you pay for. It is not bad in any way, I just expected more. It is a bit heavy. Again, you get what you pay for. The crank set is powder coated and some of it came off when mounting the pedals. Difficult to mount the pedals. I may have destroyed the threading a bit, was hard to screw one pedal in place even if I tried to line up the thing for 10 minutes… Packaging was poor. My bike was shipped to Spain in a rather flimsy box with, in my opinion, very little protection to the bike. The box was in very bad shape when it arrived. Fortunately the bike seems to be unharmed, but I get the feeling I was lucky. Good things: I may sound as if I don’t like this bike, but I just want to state that you shouldn’t expect high quality components at this price point. They are reasonably good. Bar and grips are excellent. The bike has got modern geometry and feels great! I am 185 cm and got the large size. Seems to be accurate. The top tube is a bit rectangular which you don’t see in the pictures – looks good! The feeling I get when I am riding the bike is that it feels robust and could take a beating. It looks and feels like a proper MTB. Tires are extremely grippy! Rims seem ok so far. 29ers makes the bike look like a best. Shifters and all that works as expected. Nice saddle, looks and feels more expensive than it probably is. Some pedals, tools and other stuff came with the bike so you can ride it straight out of the box – that is a nice touch! In summary I am very happy with the bike so far, and would recommend it to anyone as an entry level MTB. Pros: modern geometry robust and a proper mtb bar grips saddle Cons: cheap crankset heavy poor packaging I found this review helpful I did not find this review helpful

The bike was well packaged and all I had to do was fit the pedals with the tool provided and attach the handle bars. The bike exceeded my expectations and was a joy to ride.
